Established in 2001, Employability Cavan/Monaghan is a supported employment service for people with any long term medical condition, illness, injury or disability. Support services are offered in all areas of Monaghan.

We are an experienced employment agency in Monaghan and provide expert employment services for:

Whether you are a Job Seeker or an Employer we are happy to help you. Our aim is to source sustainable employment for people with a long term illness, injury or disability and support them into that employment.

We provide information and support to both jobseekers and local employers to promote inclusion & diversity in the workplace.

We are part of a network of 24 supported employment companies nationally and contracted by the Department of Social Protection.

Jobseeker Eligibility:
Are you aged between 18 - 66 yrs, have a recognised disability and job ready? If so we can help get you employed.
Jobseeker Grants:
There are a number of initiatives and grants that you as a jobseeker can avail of to support you into employment. Some grants listed below must be applied for by the employer but we feel that it is important for you to also have the information on them.
Individual Placement and Support (IPS):
IPS (Individual Placement and Support) supports people with mental health difficulties to secure and maintain employment. It involves intensive, individual support, a rapid job search followed by placement in paid employment, and time-unlimited in-work support for both the employee and the employer. It is evidence-based and internationally-proven. IPS works! We have one dedicated Employment Specialist that works hand in hand with the HSE Mental Health teams in Monaghan. Every day we work to support the career aspirations of our clients and build positive relationships with local employers. We provide support to overcome recruitment and hiring challenges and champion the benefits of a diversified and inclusive workforce.
